Yes! We utilize several different exfoliating methods during our facials which can help bring oil and sebum to the surface, leading to a potential increase in pimples after a facial. This is actually a positive thing because it is your skin purging all of the dirt/debris stuck deep in your pores. This purge is temporary, do not attempt to pick at or pop these pimples as it can lead to scarring.

Do you offer it?: Dermaplaning utilizes a sharp surgical grade blade to gently remove peach fuzz facial hair and exfoliate the top layer of dead skin cells. This leaves your skin super soft and allows your skin care products to penetrate deeper, thus being more effective. You will also notice your makeup going on smoother, the results are amazing! Dermaplaning is included in every facial, and we do offer a dermaplane only service for those who do not have the time or need for a full length facial.

We recommend facials every 4-6 weeks.

We utilize all medical grade products in our facials, and we can tailor our product selection to your specific skin needs.

You should plan to take the rest of the day to relax after receiving a peel. Your skin may begin to peel on day 3 and continue to peel through day 7. Do no pick at your peeling skin, continue with post care products provided.

You should refrain from exercising for 72-96 hours after receiving a peel to prevent any blistering in the skin or Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation (PIH). If prone to PIH or with pigment damage/melasma it is suggested to refrain for the entire 7 day peeling process as not to induce heat or inflammation in the skin that can lead to further damage.

We don't recommend makeup for 24-48 hours after a peel. Many clients avoid it until he or she is done peeling around the 7 day mark, due the the increased scrubbing required to remove makeup can be irritating to the peeling face.

You want to avoid direct and extreme sun exposure for the first 7 days. Also, make sure you’re applying VI Derm SPF 50+ Sunscreen every morning.

We typically recommend 4 weeks in between a peel and other aesthetic treatments.

If a series is recommended, the VI Peel is suitable to receive every 4-6 weeks. We will assess your skin and your goals and create a treatment plan specific to you!

Medical grade means claims made by the company must be proven to be true through rigorous testing and clinical trials. Drugstore or over-the- counter (OTC) skincare cannot make any medical claims or state that they can treat a specific skin condition. Medical grade skincare is also more potent and contains more efficacious ingredients meaning you need less + they work better! A win, win!

We also love the Intellishades tinted moisturizer from Revision, it has SPF for sun protection and just enough tint that it can be used in replacement of foundation!
